Qualification:-  Candidate must possess 8th/10th Class/Higher Secondary in Science with Physics & Maths from a recognized Board.

Fee details:- Gen/OBC/SBC need to pay 200-/ and Rs- 150 for SC/ST.

NTPC Vacancy details:
Total No of Vacancies: 209
Name of the Post: Engineering Executive Trainees
Names of Disciplines:
1. Electrical: 60 posts
2. Mechanical: 100 posts
3. Civil: 15 posts
4. Instrumentation: 17 posts
5. Electronics: 17 posts

Age Limit: Candidate age must be below 27 years as on 01-01-2013. (Age relaxations extended as per Govt rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must Possess Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the Semesters/Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the Institute/University. Final year/semester students are also eligible to apply.

Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 150/- towards registration fee in form of Pay-in-slip, obtained from application registration portal, and deposit fee in cash at any SBI branch in Account No. 30987919993 at CAG branch, New Delhi, on behalf of NTPC. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Selection Procedure: Based on the GATE-2013 Marks and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates who possess the required qualification in relevant discipline need to apply for GATE 2013 on or before 30-09-2012. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply to NTPC through (www.ntpccareers.net) online mode from 10-12-2012 to 31-12-2012.
